Old Crow at work
this is a painting developed for a friend who wanted "A P-51"... marked as "Old Crow", the mount of Colonel "Bud" Anderson, who is one of the longest surviving world war II USAAF pilots still with us. I painted it with full invasion stripes as it would have been just after the June 6 1944 D-day Allied forces invasion of Europe. The B-17's have had a rough time with Flak, and the Mustang escort is in battle formation, having just dropped tanks on sighting opposing fighters.
Original Oil painted, 8 1/2" x 11" copy, high-resolution computer-generated on acid free linen surface paper. What you see is on the painting... I sign each copy. And if you happen to Meet Colonel Anderson, feel free to have him autograph it!
